Our method is different to traditional training methods. We don't focus on making your dog obey through fear and control. We focus on teaching, through fun, mutual co-operation and choice. We help you both to thrive by tapping into your dogs natural food and play drive.
We often see relationship breakdowns and frustrations develop during this challenging life stage and it can often leave owners feeling exhausted and stressed. Our aim is to make sure that doesn't happen by giving you the understanding to be able to empathise with your dog and the tools and knowledge to be able to help them.

Who is this for?
People who have attended a puppy class
If you've attended a puppy class and want to advance the skills you've learnt as well as learning new skills, whilst getting support for the next challenging life stage, then this course is for you
People who have completed 1:1 training
If you've completed a 1:1 training package and you now wish to continue your training in a group environment, building on behaviours around controlled distractions, then this course is for you
People who wish to join a training programme but their dog is too old for puppy classes
Most puppy classes have a cut off point of 6 months, which can mean unfortunately dogs who fall just outside of this age bracket can miss out. We believe training should be accessible no matter how old the dog is.
Please note, if you are a new client, you will need a minimum of 1x 1:1 additional session in your home, before joining our group course to ensure your dog will be a good fit. Not all dogs will be accepted depending on behaviour. Please contact us before booking

This course is designed for those committed to force-free, positive reinforcement methods only. Owners interested in punishment-based techniques may not find this a good fit.
People Unable to Commit to Regular Attendance
Consistency is key in training. If you're unable to attend the majority of sessions, it may be difficult for your dog to progress and get the most out of the membership
Those Expecting Fully Obedient dogs After Oa few sessions
Training is a journey that takes continued reinforcement at home. If you're expecting a fully trained dog after one week, this may not align with your expectations.
Owners Looking for One-on-One Attention
Group classes are a wonderful way for dogs to learn certain skills, but if you’re seeking personalised, one-on-one training, a private package may be more suitable or our membership option 2 which combines both.
If Your dog has severe behaviour problems
If your dog struggles with severe behaviour problems, including aggression or reactivity around other dogs, then this membership won't be suitable.

Hey, I'm Leanne!
I am a huge advocate for kind, ethical training and will never compromise on welfare for the sake of results...luckily I don't have to. I've dedicated my career to helping dogs, and continue to help hundreds of dog parents thrive. With 20+ years experience, you and your dog are in safe hands.

Hey, I'm Megan!
I'm a passionate, up-and-coming dog trainer with a deep love for canine behaviour. I started my journey with my own cocker spaniel, Olive, and quickly developed a keen interest in dog training, especially through the guidance of Paws Intuition and my mom who is also a trainer. I'm active in Scent Work, Mantrailing, Hoopers, and Agility, and continuously seek to expand my knowledge and skills. After shadowing experienced trainers throughout 2024, I'm excited to bring my fresh perspective, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Paws Intuition team, eager to help dogs and their owners build stronger, more rewarding relationships.

Hey, I'm Charles!
I have 2 amazing dogs, Chips a 2 year old working cocker spaniel and Gravy, 6 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I am a certified IMDT puppy instructor and looking to become a full member of IMDT this year. I have a particular passion for dog agility and we compete regularly at G5 and G7/Championship competitions across the UK.
